Know how VAULT works.
A practical guide to borrowing, your agent, and the current lending beta.
A loan, step by step.
Start with your goal. Understand the numbers. Review before you approve.

Connect your wallet when you need it
Use Connect wallet for a compatible Solana wallet. Loan estimates work without connecting. My loans also accepts a public watch address; watching an address does not prove ownership.
Enter a loan plan
Set the collateral, USDC borrowing amount, planning horizon, and borrowing limit. Inputs describe a proposed standalone loan, not a verified balance or lender offer.
Check the result
Read the estimated cost and debt / collateral ratio. Review the assumptions, then continue to Kamino to re-enter and verify the exact position, amounts, fees, and wallet approval.
VAULT currently does not sign, submit, or confirm financial transactions. A lender handoff does not mean a loan has been opened.
Ask for a concrete loan check.
Shows the estimated cost and how the debt compares with collateral.
Calculates the effect of the selected collateral price drop.
Proposes a smaller loan. Apply it only if it still meets your needs.
Calculates collateral needed for the chosen borrowing limit.
The current interpreter accepts phrases such as “Borrow 500 USDC against 10 SOL for 30 days, under 35% debt / collateral.” Unsupported or incomplete requests are rejected. AI conversation and multiple specialist agents are not active.
You can name your agent in Settings. Saving a name requires sign-in; it does not grant wallet permissions.
Understand the position you already have.
Load supported positions to see collateral, debt, and liquidation thresholds. Preview a USDC repayment or additional SOL collateral, then test a price drop against that projection.
What does Debt / collateral mean?
It is debt divided by collateral value, also called loan-to-value (LTV). For example, $300 of debt against $1,000 of collateral is 30%. This is an illustrative example, not a live rate or recommended loan.
The lender may increase the debt used in risk calculations with a borrow factor. VAULT uses that factor where the supported route provides it. Falling collateral prices or accruing interest can increase the ratio.
Read the short borrowing guideHow is my borrowing limit different from liquidation?
Your borrowing limit is a planning constraint. VAULT checks the stricter of your limit and the supported protocol limit. The liquidation threshold is the lender’s risk boundary. Staying below either figure does not guarantee safety.
Does VAULT monitor while I am away?
No. Optional refresh runs every minute only while the page is visible. Background alerts and automatic loan actions are not active.
Why do position reads ask me to sign in?
The current server connection uses hosting sign-in for request limits. It is separate from your wallet connection and provides no spending authority.
Read the assumptions with the estimate.
principal × ((1 + APY)^(days / 365) − 1)The estimate assumes a constant annual borrowing rate. It excludes fees, future rate changes, and existing debt. The planning horizon is not a fixed loan maturity. Management projections hold all other variables constant.
Rates and prices come from the provider. Fetch time is not quote time. Expired prices block new estimates; position snapshots older than five minutes require refresh before management review. A failed request is shown as an error, never as zero debt.

Live data versus the simulation lab
The lending app uses fetched source data. The separate simulation lab uses manually entered assumptions and sample history. It does not display actual wallet balances or loans.
What remains before full in-app lending.
Complete transaction instruction validation, dedicated RPC reliability, wallet signing and confirmation, recovery testing, and independently reviewed integration code. Live-funds tests require explicit authorization.
No audit, lender approval, or partnership is claimed. A public support contact, security reporting channel, and accountable operator details still need to be published before a full financial launch.
